Targeted Opt In Email Direct Marketing

Targeted Opt In Email Direct Marketing

If you are not targeting your email marketing audience correctly it almost makes absolutely no sense in building your list from the ground up. I will give you a brief example of what i mean. If you are selling or trying to sell the RIM Black Berry Pearl 8100 or Black berry’s in general it would not make sense to build your list around people only interested in the Iphone.

That being said it’s a good idea to target your keywords and your subscribers correctly. When targeting make sure your header clearly states the type of people you are looking for. Along with this make sure it is marketed properly so that your subscribers are put into the frame of mind that you either know something they do not know or that they will get something for free when they enter in their details.

Targeted Opt In Email Marketing Getting to know your subscribers

I personally recommend having an autoresponder a reliable one that will assist you in capturing these targeted email addresses the two things you want right of the bat is name and email. I recommend not getting to personal and also providing some sort of useful information to your subscribers.

If the niche you’ve chosen is something you are not really interested in i recommend hiring someone to write your emails for you and also testing the results. That being said i think its a good idea to understand your niche so chose a niche that you are interested in so your email marketing efforts become a lot easier. Provide your subscriber with useful information with a link to your website in every email.

Don’t pressure your list but every once in a while send them a deal with the sense of urgency i recommend if you are looking to get someone to buy from you that you send these types of emails Wednesday, Thursday or Monday. From my past experiences these days seem to be the most responsive, but depending on your niche you may have different results.
