Cash Accumulation Value
Simply put, this is the amount of cash value in the policy that is being credited with the interest and the growth linked to an index, such as the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones.
Cash Surrender Value
The cash surrender value is the amount of cash you would receive if you terminated or surrendered the policy (which is typically something you want to avoid).
