Cash Accumulation Value: Simply put, this is the amount of cash value in the policy—the equity in the policy that’s being credited with the interest rates or the indexing rate.
Cash Surrender Value: This is the net amount you would receive if you cancel the policy, especially during the early years. Typically, during the first 10 to 15 years, the cash surrender value is less than the cash accumulation value.
